Our
vineyards are our fortune and here in Romagnoli we never foget that: the
wine is made first of all in the Vineyard.
All
our vineyards are personnally by us grown and handled, in full respect
of CEE specimen #2078/92 in order to reduce the chemical products use.
Our technicians doesn't leave anything to the chance: each step, from
the cuttung to the harvest, is monitorized and carried out by specialized
personnel.
The
two estates of Villò and Caiano, just 4 km far one from the other, but
with a totally different nature: sandy, sometimes clayey the first one,
with hills that almost reach 300 meters asl and plains that degrade into
the Nure river, calcareous, barren, the second one, with hills up to 400
meters asl with no plains in between.
Villò,
45 hectars of vineyards, it's the land of our most prestigious wines;
here we grow our reserves, the rarities, the Romagnoli 1857 bottles. Gutturnio,
Merlot, Cabernet-Sauvignon, Barbera and Pinot Noir, our "colti vitati",
found in this estate the ideal sole for their grapes. In the plane part
that slip into the Nure river the protagonists are the vines of Pinot
Nero, Grigio and Chardonnay, suitables for the production of our Classic
Method Spumante.
Caiano,
almost 40 hectars of vineyards up in the hills, surrounded by a copse.
Uncontested kingdom of Malvasia, Trebbiano and Barbera, this estate hosts
also the Romagnoli country house from which it takes the name. The characteristics
of the sole with hill after hill give to the wine an unique quality, most
of all to the noble Malvasia that here reaches his highest results.
The
same results that we can find in any bottle signed by Romagnoli.
